WATERLINKS, USAID/BE SECURE ENRICH LEARNING ON WATER DEMAND MANAGEMENT IN VISIT TO SEATTLE ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION AGENCY
The same 14 participants visited the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in Seattle as part of the programmed activities. The visit to EPA intended to provide the participants information and understanding on EPA’s interest and role in water conservation, in particular, the WaterSense voluntary labelling program of water fixtures. Ms. Bevin Horn, WaterSense Project Coordinator gave a comprehensive presentation on WaterSense and how the voluntary labelling was being implemented in coordination with SPU and other utilities in the state of Washington.
