WaterLinks Participation: Philippine Water and Sanitation Forum


WaterLinks took part in the Philippine Water and Sanitation Forum, an event organized by Philippines. The event was a gathering of noteworthy leaders from water, sanitation, public and private sectors to learn and collaborate on the matter of access to affordable financing for safe water and sanitation in the Philippines. The Forum had successfully brought together key players in these sectors to identify market opportunities and share knowledge on accessing capital to expand and improve water supply and sanitation services. The forum also emphasized the need to collaborate among various players to achieve universal access to water and sanitation for those at the base of the pyramid.


Ms. Mai Flor, WaterLinks Executive Director, chaired the session on “ A Shared Mission: How Collaboration with Water Service Providers Can Help Capacity Building to Scale Water Supply and Sanitation”. Also in attendance, as a session presenter was Ms. Yoly Gomez, WaterLinks Partnership Coordinator, where she shared and discussed the organization’s work, particularly the WaterLinks WOPs program.
