After preparing its Water Safety Plan, a WHO-led framework for identifying deficient water production and distribution operations, the Danang Water Supply Company (DAWACO) determined that water quality management, especially in the distribution network, was a priority. With initial introduction by WHO, USAID visited DAWACO to verify its needs - to ensure safe water supply by maintaining adequate chlorine levels in its disribtion network – and to gather additional information on DAWACO’s operations and support from other development partners.
