Ranhill, the concessionaire for the State of Johor in Malaysia, serves three million people through 900,000 connections and a production capacity of about 1,600 MLD. Ranhill Utilities has previously worked with ouside companies on water quality services, non revenue water, network management, and customer services. An ISO-certified company in water treatment and water laboratory management, Ranhill is the first Aisan utility to have joined the Bonn Network of water utilities. Through USAID, Ranhill has also mentored utilities in India, Indonesia, and Vietnam through twinning partnerships on continuous water supply, and non revenue water.

Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran (MJP) is the principal water service provider for the state of Maharashtra, India.  It provides management and technical support on water supply and sewerage services for 25 urban and rural local bodies.  To date, it serves 5 million urban residents through 375 urban water supply schemes, and operates 26 urban sewerage schemes.  MJP employs over 8,000 staff in 175 offices in the state. Since 2005, the state government has prioritized water supply improvements, focusing specifically  on  continuous water supply in urban  areas to enhace livelihoods and equity. MJP elected to pilot improvements at Badlapur as a first step to transforming its network.
